well,I guess I don’t use tumblr much these days

I can easily say that in the last two months, yoga has drastically changed my life. After several weeks of Hatha yoga, I joined a power vinyasa (hot) yoga studio. (influenced by Baron Baptiste) I even got my fiance involved! it’s been amazing being part of such a wonderful community. I’ve lost a ton of weight, I’ve become much more flexible, and I’m not nearly as agitated.

I’m starting to get called in almost every day at work, which means I’ve been working almost 40 hours a week recently. This is difficult since I’m also in school, but the money is nice! I’ve become a lot closer with my co-workers at the funeral home.

I did have a bout of kidney stones last week, which was by far the most painful experience of my life. I did ujjayi breath until I got to the ER (but frankly it didn’t do shit until I got that dialaudid. I guess it had me focusing on something esle instead of the pain… I guess… )

funny story

blah blah blah, we have a guy who keeps calling the funeral home, he tells us he’s been dead for many years and wants us to pick him up and preform an autopsy, because he’s not quite sure how he died. the last time he called he said he wanted to “take the manager’s place” (he used her real, full name — creepy) because he was more qualified to run a funeral home… given that he was dead already.

Tumblr has sure changed since I was last here…

I’ve been getting a shitload of overtime at the mortuary (unfortunately, for a homicide case) and I joined a really fancy yoga studio and school is killing me and I’m trying to get the very last of my wedding planning done in whatever free time I have left.

I don’t sleep.

is anyone involved with Funeral Divas? Or is it social suicide?

I know almost nothing about this except they (i think it was FDs?) wanted to have a reality show for single funeral directors?????? And it put a bitter taste in my mouth. Or maybe I have my Women in Funeral Directing organization mixed up.

This photo was taken for a local paper at the Pet Loss Center at our mortuary. I can’t help but burst into tears every time it pops up.
My manager did a pet service once. She said she couldn’t get through the eulogy. :(

Hope everyone had a day full of love!!

Went over my data on my phone. Fortunately T-Mobile doesn’t charge, they just throttle the shit out of it. No Tumblr browsing on my phone until Thursday, but at least it’s almost the end of the month. When Greg and I get married, we’ll just do some sort of family plan and I’ll buy more data. Until then, I guess I won’t be playing Pandora nonstop.
